  • Allyn & Bacon Public Speaking Website- This website contains five modules that you can use along with your textbook to learn about the process of public speaking and to help you prepare your speeches.

  • School News- This activity can be used for several purposes. It can be used to improve writing skills, speaking, questioning skills, and help to build self esteem. No special conditions are required.

  • Speaking Non-Sense- This game, called "Speaking Non-Sense," is a great way to get kids' bad speaking habits out of the way, and good ones in!

  • Teacher Travel Agency- Students will pretend they have just been hired by the Teacher Travel Agency as a travel agent. It is their job to present a 3-5 minute speech on a specific country to their clients (the rest of the class and the teacher).
